In this excerpt from SPIRIT OF INNOVATION, a documentary film by John Veltri about the creative process of 92 year-old John M Johansen FAIA, the architect visits one of his radical architectural masterpieces, the still-controversial Mummers (now Stage Center) Theater in Oklahoma City, which he designed in 1969. In this clip, shot in April 2008 during Johansen’s lecture to OKU architectural students,  Johansen discusses his process of innovating new architectural forms.
